I fooled Zuck!
05:39pm. I had tried creating a new account on facebook.com several times, but the photo verification always scared the shit out of me. I forgot it's facebook.com and not reddit.com or hackernews.com. Anyway, I am stubborn: I tried creating a new account by giving minimal information. Basically, the social networking site had made several restrictions on creating accounts to prevent bots and spam. Passing email verification, phone verification (I used a burner phone) and "I'm not a robot" was not a big deal. However, the last step was to upload my photo to get verified. They even gave a warning that the image is manually checked by humans. Hence, I wasted a lot of time around this. At last, I uploaded a random stock photo and ... voila! My new account was successfully created. Of course I used fake names and throwaway email addresses.
